Book review 28: The perfection in Christ, on earth, in the end-time

Introduction

Hebr. 6:1-3, “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit.”
The Scripture doesn’t only teach us the salvation bringing grace in Christ Jesus, the reconciliation with God by our personal conversion unto Him, and by our faith in His Word and in Jesus Christ, our Saviour, and by the washing in His dear shed Blood, but also the perfection in Christ, already in this world.
The apostle Paul also was pursuing this prize of this high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Php. 3:10-14, “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Mt. 5:48, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
2 Cor. 3:17-18, “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Eph. 4:11-16, “And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

For the perfecting of the saints,
for the work of the ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, Which is the Head, even Christ: From Whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”
Col. 1:27-29, “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labour, striving according to His working, which worketh in me mightily.”
Hebr. 10:14, “For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”
With the fulfilment by our Lord Jesus Christ of His sacrifice on His cross at Golgotha He has prepared for us an eternal perfection, which He now, even on earth, wants to build in our body, soul and spirit, if we faithfully surrender our self to Him.

When shall the revelation of this perfection in Christ happen on earth?

1 Petr. 1:3-5, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”
The divine heritage, offered by God after the death of God’s Lamb to mankind fallen in sin, is revealed on earth in the end-time.
The Scripture tells us further, that in the end-time, saviours shall rise, and that the Kingdom shall then be the Lord’s.
Obadja 21, “And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau (picture of all worldly minded Christians); and the Kingdom shall be the LORD’S.”
In the end-time the Bride of God’s Lamb is revealed on earth, in the Church, after her perfect redemption by the Lord God of all the powers of sin and satan. Then the heavenly Bridegroom shall return on earth, invisibly in and through the Holy Spirit. Then the Spirit of God shall glorify her, inwardly and outwardly, with divine glory, and authority. He then has prepared her so for the bridal festival, for her unity with the Divine, resurrected Bridegroom.

Their calling and sealing (anointing).
Their spiritual birth (distinction) out of the Bride of God’s Lamb.
Their revelation on mount Zion, the Church.

Then the Divine Bridegroom shall use His Bride – and at that time still hidden in her body the 144.000 firstborns – as His spiritual instruments.

up to the healing of His backslidden Church.
up to the realization of the world-wide revival.

A time of sudden separations in the spiritual body of Christ.
